Creating a new patient
Important note: Depending on your configuration of Welkin, the ability to create a new patient may be granted to all users or only the administrator/supervisor accounts. If you will not be manually creating new accounts, skip ahead to Lesson 4.
If you have the ability to create a new patient, you will see a blue button at the top of the inbox page labeled Create Patient:
Clicking on that button will bring you to the patient creation page. Fill out every field of information and make sure you gather the appropriate communication consents. Fields that are grayed out will be automatically populated by the system:
When you're finished, click Create Patient.
