In this article, we'll walk through:
- publishing your program to your Live environment
After reading this documentation, you will:
- understand how to launch your program or updates to your program
Workshop uses a model of Build → Test → Publish, which enables you to: iterate on your program, test the changes you make in the Test environment, refine (if needed) and verify your changes, and Publish the Program to your Live environment.
Publishing changes to your Program does not affect the ability to work in the Program; Workshop changes are effective immediately, and without interruption to your Coach Portal. Publishing will update what is currently in your Live environment with your most recent changes, which are then available to your team to utilize in the Program and with your patients.
Important note: Content that has already been issued—such as an email that you have already sent to a patient, or an Assessment that’s already been completed—will not reflect any updates made to that content. Only content triggered after changes are published to your Live environment will reflect those modifications.
When to publish to your Live environment
We recommend that you don’t publish changes to your Live environment during busy times in your team’s workflow to minimize impact to your team. While publishing changes in Workshop won’t impact service availability, consider making large-scale changes to workflows by timing your publishing to lower activity times, such as early in the morning or later in the day.
In some cases, you may choose to use your Test environment to train your team on the Program changes before you publish them to Live, to familiarize them with the modifications before they interact with them with Patients.
