In this guide, we’ll walk through how to create a new patient in Welkin.
To create a new patient in Coach Portal, follow the steps below:
Select Create Patient. You will find the Create Patient button at the top right of the Inbox labeled “Create Patient”. This blue button is located underneath the “Dashboards” in your Inbox view.
Important Note: Depending on your configuration of Welkin, the ability to create a new patient may only be granted the Admin role accounts. Or your configuration may only have the ability to create a new patient through an integration.
This opens up the Create New Patient page, which displays a list of fields. Required fields are marked with a *.
Complete the fields for each section.
Important Note: Some fields automatically populated by the system. These fields may include: “Coach”, “Contact Info: Communication Consents”, and “ID”.
When you're finished, click Create Patient.
