- An Appointment Prompt that has a blue action button and a name or description that references video. This button text is configured by your program director in Workshop.
How do I initiate a telehealth video call to a patient?
- After navigating to the video option in the ‘Action Bar’ or ‘Appointment Prompt’, you will see a ‘Start Video Call’ button and a ‘Test’ button.
- If you want to test your video and audio, select ‘Test’ >> ‘Start/Stop’. After you are finished testing, select ‘Close’.
- When you select ‘Start Video Call’, an invitation and instructions will be sent to the patient through any text-based channels that they have consented to receive messages.
- To begin your video, select ‘Start Video’ in the lower left corner of the video pop-up.
- To enable audio, select ‘Join Audio’ in the lower left corner of the video pop-up. You can either follow the ‘Phone Call’ instructions to dial in through your phone or select ‘Join Audio by Computer’ to use your computer’s audio input and output.
- If you need to view information in the patient profile, you can minimize the video window at any time. There will be a ‘Video’ bar that you can click on in the lower left corner of your screen to re-open the video call.
- To end the call, select ‘Leave Meeting’ in the lower right hand corner.
